Our gift

We were able to have a 4D ultrasound done(I really don't know the difference from 3d and 4d so I have been referring to it as a 3d. I was 12 weeks 1 day at the time we received these pictures. This is my favorite part of the early pregnancy is to see the miracle that is developing inside me. Here are some of my favorite pictures we received. By the way if you have not heard - the ultrasound tech believes the baby to be a girl :)

Her feet

Her brain ...also a little inspiration for the baby's room theme (doesn't it look like a butterfly?)

4D image - facial features are not clearly defined at this age...so she appears faceless - or clay as Kameron put it.

If she really is a she then her name is Raeli Nevin Wallace (first name pronounced Ray lee)

During the ultrasound she was very laid back and cooperative. She did do a little dance at one point that made all of us laugh. We hope this is indicative of her personality when she arrives outside the womb.

Oh wow! That is amazing! I have always wondered what makes up the 4th D in a 4D ultrasound. We had a 3D ultrasound when we were about 20 weeks along with Korbin. The picture still looks like him now. Technology is so incredible. Congrats on your little cutey. I love her feet!

I've never had a 3D or 4D ultrasound. They are pretty nifty. I just love babies. Even before they've tasted oxygen. What a little miracle you have! We're all hoping for girls over here in Utah. (It's Jessica's turn to have a baby but no one is pregnant - yet.) The name you've picked is very pretty!

That is so exciting to see pictures of your baby. I'm impressed you already have a name picked out. It's very cute. Chris and I are just going to have to wait til we see ours.

If Einstein has anything to do with ultrasounds then the 4th dimension would time. And since you were able to view a 3d critter over a period of time maybe that is it. If not, at least it makes a good story. No matter, it is still "way cool"!!! to see her little body so early. And such great news that all is well with her.
