So Perfect!

Kelsie has been waiting for her boyfriend to ask her to Homecoming. As it goes with many things you expect when it does not happen you face disappointment. Homecoming is next weekend and she had not been asked yet...until yesterday. Brad (her boyfriend) had a radio station call her right after school while he waited on the other line. She got the call and it went something like this...

Radio DJ "Is this Kelsie?"

Kelsie "Yes"

Radio DJ " This is Delilah at KEZ 99.9"

Kelsie "What?" (I am sure at this point she was beaming to the point of almost being giddy)

Radio DJ "Do you know someone named Brad?"

Kelsie "uhhh yahh"

Radio DJ "well he would like to ask you something"

Then Brad was on the line asking her to Homecoming.

I don't know how she responded but the radio DJ said so is that a yes and then Kelsie excitedly said "YES!" It was done as a pre-recorded thing so it was suppose to air last night between 7 pm and midnight. Jed thinks he heard it at 8:30 but no one else did. Brad was trying to figure out a perfect and creative way to ask Kelsie ~ I don't know if he realizes how perfect this is for Kelsie. When she was much younger and they listened to Radio Disney she would call in all the time and when she finally got through once she was on a high for a very very long time.

She called me - left a message and text me all within a 2 min period to tell me what happened.
