So in 2005 I was accepted into the Medical Imaging (aka X-ray tech) Program at Gateway and at the time John was just beginning to build his Insurance Business. I was allowed to defer for a year without losing my spot in the program. So I deferred so I could help give John's business support and a boost. In 2006 when my turn was up again we were struggling financially so I was unable to go to school. This was very heart breaking because I had already waited two years to be accepted into this program and now I was going to be placed on the bottom of the 3 year waiting list. (all things happen for a reason). Well this Fall came and I realized my number should be closer to the top of the list so I called and emailed. I was told that I had not kept my mailing address current therefore when they sent out a letter asking if I was still interested in the program I did not receive it. It was looking as though I may have to start at the bottom of the three year waiting list again. Ouch! One of the directors took pity on me and saw that I should have been on the list and accepted my application and put me on the list as of 2005. Well today I got official notification (well it came from a school email - is that official?)that I am number 36 on the list of applicant to be accepted in the Fall of 2009. They accept 56 into the program every year which means that going Back to School is definately in my future. This is really an answer to many of my prayers - Life is great!

Yay! Fall 2009 will be here before you know it. What a blessing that the director put you back on the list.
That is awesome but I bet it can't come soon enough! This is where learning yet more patience comes into play. GOOD LUCK!
So happy for you! It's about time!!!! :) Best of luck, You'll be great!
Way to go Robyn. I love reading about your family!
What great news! Does this mean it will start in the Fall or is there an earlier starting period? How long of a program is radiology? This timing seems to be really good for you.
Dad
They only start the program in the Fall. It is a 22 month program, so I will be set to graduate May 2011.
