Jed had his first Dive meet today - it is so much fun to watch them dive. I have always found it fasinating that people can do all those flips and turns and still land almost without a splash. Jed has really improved this year it will be fun to see where he ends up at the end of the season. Raeli and I really thought it was fun today!! Now having said that I am NOT thrilled about the uniform that seemingly ALL the boys were wearing. SPEEDOS - yes high school boys did not even have to be convinced - they think this is funny and cool I just think it is wrong.:) Jed actually has to earn his own money to pay for the "uniform" I am more than willing to pay for the jammers (long shorts) but the speedos just goes against all I can tolerate with boys swim shorts. (I may be over exaggerating but I just dont like speedos - I thought they were cute when Jed was 2 and 3 but now it just is not cute)

I watched some guys dive this summer (not Jed) and wondered how they got away with wearing the speedos, but it all makes sense now. Jed is an amazing diver, I had so much fun watching him at the ward party! All the best this year, I'm sure he'll be fantastic!
Jed you would fit in just fine here on the lakes where the Germans just love the speedos. :) I have to admit, the speedo makes you look like a real olympic diver. So, while I too am not a big speedo fan, in this case, I approve.
