One year ago little Raeli joined our family and brought so much joy and light to our family. She has blessed our lives in ways only Heavenly Father knew we needed to be blessed. We love her to pieces and can't wait to see what she will learn next. We love to watch her grow and develop.
Happy Birthday Princess Raeli - We love you!
Here are some of my favorite pictures from her first year (trust me this is a small collection and it was difficult to stop adding pictures)
Just 2 weeks old and just as adorable as ever - love the hands by her face :)
Always sticking her tongue out. She was born with her tongue out :)
First time pulling the singing Butterfly by herself - I love her concentrated look.
Hugging her ducky - usually it was her magic blanket
Classic Raeli look - she continues to be expressive - she always gives you a look (not always a smile - but definitely a look)
This is how you know she is teething - she has not yet been unbearable but she chews on everything when those teeth are coming in. (she has 6 at age 1)
Stuck her in a Tutu and laid her on her blanket for a picture - it turned out adorable :)

mmmm...pastaFor the most part Raeli is a very good eater and she eats best when she gets to feed herself.
Raeli hates to have Daddy leave for work - but getting to ride his briefcase makes up for it. John took her on a walk one day around the block on this because she did not want to get off :)
Raeli is a good helper with laundry. She loves to take the clothes out of the washer and loves to get into it :) She does the same thing with the dishwasher.
Kameron's horsey rides are the best.
Butterfly wings - she wears them well.
We recently visited Raeli's Aunt Sandy in California. A couple favorites from that trip for Raeli was the pretty flowers in the back yard, the water fountain (which she loved to lick), the trampoline AND just walking around in her new shoes (freedom)
Raeli has loved music from day one - she loves to be sung to (and she doesn't even mind if you don't sing very well) She does not love the headphones yet but will tolerate them because she loves to hear the music :)
