Fast forward...the car has been hit in a parking lot with no note attached. The mirror on the passenger side somehow was smacked and barely hanging on (parking in a high school parking lot - bound to happen) and the radiator blew up, ran out of gas many times, temperamental about starting when Kelsie wants it to...So the first year was wonderful - the second year held promise but has been the car from heck. On June 24th Kelsie was driving to meet up with some friends. Going down the 17 she heard her car cough/choke...worried she decided she would get off at the next exit. She pulled into the right lane so she would be ready, then she heard a pop...more worry and fear set in so she decided she would pull over and call me. She pulled off the highway and stopped her car. Then car hood began to smoke. She grabbed the keys, phone, ipod and purse and got out. She climbed over the cement barrier thing and walked away from her car (good girl). Looked back and her hood was turning orange (car is white) she then saw a drip of fire from the engine. WHAT!!! Call 911 and then Mom - MY CAR IS ON FIRE!!! What do you do when your car is on fire? Don't know so it burned and burned and now there is nothing left but metal. Kelsie is fine - car is not...

First scene we saw when we got there...that is Kelsie about a 100 yards away from the car still (fire is out). The rest of the pictures speak for themselves.

Now we are looking for another car that will give Kelsie another love hate relationship ;)
