It has been a while since my last update. I have discovered (or re-discovered) that doing anything beside feed, change and rock the baby is nearly impossible. But now we have a couple of really good naps and that allows me to "catch up".

Raeli was born Aug 13th at 10:55 a.m. and was healthy! She weighed 8lbs 3 oz (my biggest baby) and was 20.25 inches long. She has been a joy from the very beginning. We all love her very much. She has just begun talking to us. My favorite time of day with her is in the morning when she has a good 30 minutes of play time before she is hungry. She does alot of coo-ing and smiling and staring.

She is growing fast! Some of her favorite things right now are - She loves holding hands, she loves being held, loves being outside (I think that correlates to the heat more than anything else), she loves eating and she loves falling asleep on me and does not really like to be moved :). She is not a fan of tub time - but loves hearing the water run (she does like having her head washed though)

I will be going back to work tomorrow and Kameron will be tending her in the mornings and Kelsie will be tending her in the afternoons. The first week Grandma Jo (John's mom Linda) will be here to help out. Wish them all luck - Raeli kinda likes having me home.
