Today was my doctor appointment. Both my nurse and doctor appeared disappointed to see me :). They are always hoping that I have already delivered before my next appointment. Today I was dilated to a 1 - yes a whopping 1...Doc says Raeli is healthy and a little too comfortable. She also told me that my due date is today (I could not convince her otherwise but the ultra sound expected due date is Aug 9th). I know its only three days but it makes me feel better to push it back.
The doctor has given John and I the choice every week after 37 the opportunity to schedule to be induced. We have declined. Now we don't have too much of a choice - she won't let me go past next Thursday. For the health of the baby (her food source starts to die after 40 weeks) Raeli has been given her eviction notice :)
Ready or not she will be here within a week no matter what! We are excited to welcome her home!

well either way, congrats! it's a great feeling to get that baby out of your tummy and into your arms. (whether it was you or someone else instigating it!)
Have John text us the minute labor starts, that is if it happens before Thursday.
