Help Me!!
Okay - for the past week I have been trying to change my background to something summery. I know where to go to change it I have even saved the new blogger background multiple times but every time I see my blog it still has the Patriotic Theme. Don't get me wrong I love my country but I really want to spruce up my blog and it will not go away. Do you think there is a glitch and if there is - does anyone know the fix for it?

Have you tried completely deleting the HTML for the patriotic background? I would remove the gadget on your side bar that says "Independence" completely and then go in and add a new gadget with the HTML of the new background you want. Hope that helps.
Thank you - I have tried that but it is a no go. I decided to just completly remove it and then come back into it in a couple days - see what happens.
