Dear Raeli,
Today I prepare to take you to daycare for your 2nd day. I just want you to know that it is a very difficult thing for Mommy. Yesterday when I dropped you off and you went right to Miss Becky I was so relieved. But then Daddy stopped by on his way to work just to see how you were doing and saw you crying because you did not want to take a nap. When he told me that I was very sad - I just wanted to go pick you up so I could rock you to sleep. Daddy was pretty sad about it too. I called a few minutes later and they told me you were sleeping so i felt a little better. I was so glad to pick you up at the end of the day but my heart broke again when you saw me you called Mom and then ran to me crying. Things were better once I held you in my arms again but I know that you are a little nervous to go back but I want you to know that Mommy and Daddy love you very much and wish we could stay home with you - but just for a little bit Mommy still has to help Daddy at the office. I love you very much and know once you get used to your teachers and friends you will love going to daycare.

This is so sad. I think it can only get better. I hope!
So sweet! She will survive and so will you. This is just a small moment in time. Give her something special from home to keep with her at daycare. And don't feel bad if you take something of hers with you to work as well. :)
